Pompano Beach – Republican presidential candidate and former U.S. Senator Rick Santorum will attend services at the Worldwide Christian Center church in Pompano Beach this coming Sunday.

“I think this may be one of his first stops in Florida before the primary,” said Rev. O’Neal Dozier, senior pastor of the predominantly black Worldwide Christian Center.

Dozier, who is a Tea Party member, has been named an honorary state chairman of the Santorum presidential campaign.

The pro-life Santorum will speak at the congregation’s 11 a.m. ‘Sanctity of Life’ service on Sunday, Jan. 22.

The former Pennsylvania senator’s visit will take place a day after the South Carolina primary.

“He is the only true Christian conservative among the candidates,” Dozier said.
