felix_cavaliere_web.jpgMIAMI — The Miami-Dade Parks 9th Annual Greynolds Park Love-In festival returns with the legendary Felix Cavaliere's Rascals in concert on Sunday, May 6, from 11:00 a.m. to 6:30 p.m.

The free daylong concert also will feature popular local bands Been There Done That, Swinging Richards, BlackStar, and Orange Sunshine.

Admission is free and parking is $10 per car.  Coolers are not permitted. Greynolds Park is located at 18501 N.E. 22 Ave., North Miami Beach.

The signature event will feature festivities and fun for the whole family, including a costume contest, a classic cars display, a kids play zone, arts and crafts and a variety of food and beverages. 

The festival is presented by Catholic Health Services in partnership with the Miami-Dade Parks, Recreation and Open Spaces Department, the Parks Foundation of Miami-Dade and Majic 102.7.

Headlining the music fest, The Rascals were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1997 and the Hit Parade Hall of Fame in 2010. The band started out as The Young Rascals, a blue-eyed soul group active during the years 1965–1972, and released numerous top ten singles in North America during the mid to late 1960s, including their hits Good Lovin’, Groovin, People Got to Be Free and A Beautiful Morning.
