LAUDERDALE LAKES — Broward County Libraries Division's Lauderdale Lakes Library, located at 3580 W. Oakland Park Blvd., Lauderdale Lakes, will be closed Saturday, May 28, for scheduled floor maintenance.


The project, which will take place on the library's first floor, is scheduled for completion when the library resumes normal operating hours on Tuesday, May 31, noon to 8 p.m. nearby library locations with Saturday hours include:

• Lauderhill Mall Library, 4257 N.W. 12th St., Lauderhill, phone 954-791-1000, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
• Lauderhill Towne Centre Library, 6399 W. Oakland Park Blvd., phone 954-497-1630, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
In addition to the Saturday closing, the Lauderdale Lakes Library will be closed on the following days:
• Friday, May 27: All County libraries are closed due to an unpaid employee furlough day due to budget constraints.
• Sunday, May 29: All library locations are closed on Sundays.
• Monday, May 30: All library locations are closed in observance of the Memorial Day holiday.

Lauderdale Lakes Library's normal hours of operation are noon to 8 p.m. Mondays and Tuesdays; and 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Wednesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays.
