Jonathan “The Peanut Man” Hardin, transitioned to be with the Lord.

Jonathan, blessed by God, touched generations of citizens of Broward and the downtown County Courthouse community, over 40 years.

“A warm hearted spirit.”

Jonathan Hardin was born in Daytona Beach, Fla.

6’6”, wheelchair bound his entire adult life. He was shot in the neck with a .45 gun at 18 years old, in an argument with another man.

Loved by all who knew and came in contact with, while selling peanuts, in front of the Broward County Courthouse, approximately 40 plus years.

“I am heartbroken.”

Michael Snow, a Broward Sheriff Office court bailiff who works at the same courthouse, was friends with Jonathan for the past 12 years.
