CINCINNATI (AP) _ Recreational unmanned aerial vehicles will not be permitted to be flown at any All-Star Game events in Cincinnati.
Federal Aviation Administration regulations already restrict most use of unmanned aircraft known as drones.
City officials say there were no specific events prompting the warning. But they say recreational drones generally create security challenges.
The city says drones also are not allowed in downtown Cincinnati or northern Kentucky or in air space over the Ohio River. Prohibited areas include Great American Ball Park and Paul Brown Stadium.
City officials also stress that drones also aren’t allowed within five miles of the Greater Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky International Airport or Lunken Airport.
