WEST PALM BEACH, Fla — Just in time for the holiday shopping season, a new trolley service is available to whisk shoppers around the city. The City of West Palm Beach launched the transportation system a few weeks ago, hoping to attract around 200 riders each day. According to statistics, at least 100 more riders per day are taking advantage of the free service that runs between downtown, Northwood Village and the Palm Beach Outlet Mall.

Funded by the city’s Community Redevelopment Agency, the Downtown Development Authority and the Palm Beach Outlet Mall, the new Blue Line runs Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays from 11:00am – 10:00pm. Saturday ridership has been the busiest, with an average of almost 340 riders per day.
