MIAMI — Since his death in 2010, much of the art of Miami artist Purvis Young has been housed at the Bass Museum of Art in Miami Beach.  Last week on Friday, June 5, almost 400 pieces of Purvis’ work will go home to Overtown.  The Bass Museum has gifted the art to The Black Archives History and Research Foundation of South Florida.
