Miami-Dade County Public Schools (M-DCPS) distributed new laptop computers at Golden Glades Elementary School in Miami Gardens.

Over 2,000 select students at 18 targeted elementary schools throughout the district will receive computer devices and four years of free Internet access provided by Sprint to use at their homes as part of the CONNECT@HOME project.

Students will use the devices to practice their reading and math skills at home through “myON Readers” and “Reflex Math,” as well as other educational software accessible through the student portal.
