Miami – Luisa Martinez has been appointed by Sonshine Communications President and CEO Bernadette Morris to the position of associate vice president and communications director at the agency.
Martinez will manage the public and media relations division and provide leadership and guidance on the team’s projects and assignments.

Martinez earned her Master of Science in Mass Communications from Florida International University and her Bachelor of Science in Communications from Universidad APEC (UNAPEC) in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic, her native home.
She is a seasoned PR professional, with nearly a decade of experience in marketing and communications services, and proficient in creative messaging and development and execution of social media messages and client features.
In her new role at the firm, Martinez will manage and oversee client accounts, serve as a client liaison, develop social media content messages, manage social media accounts, draft and distribute press releases for clients, assist with creative campaigns, and manage Hispanic relations. She is a true social media superstar who is very skilled in all aspects of communications.
