FT. LAUDERDALE, FL – The International Career and Business Alliance, Inc. (ICABA) announced the inaugural ICABA Global Hall of Fame Weekend, taking place September 26 – 29, 2019, at the Diplomat Beach Resort in Hollywood, FL. The four-day megaconference offers high-level networking, valuable information and opportunities while celebrating the accomplishments of iconic leaders of color across various industries. ICABA has hosted over 131 successful events with more than 13k attendees populated by accomplished professionals and entrepreneurs of color. ICABA expects over 1,000 attendees at the resort-style annual affair, which also marks the 10-year anniversary of the company.

The highlight of the weekend is the celebration of the lifetime and professional achievements of 10 of the world’s most accomplished entrepreneurs during the highly anticipated Black-Tie Gala. This year’s Hall of Fame honorees include Folorunsho Alakija (Corporate Executive; Nigeria), Junior Bridgeman (Entrepreneur; Kentucky), Xernona Clayton (Civic Leader; Georgia), Arnold Donald (Corporate Executive; Florida), Bishop Neil Ellis (Faith; Bahamas), Willie E. Gary (Legal; Florida), Dr. Dennis Kimbro (Academia; Florida), Yvette Miley (Media; New York), Thomas Morehead (Entrepreneur; Washington, D.C.), Vivian W. Pinn, M.D. (Healthcare; Virginia) and Andrew Young (Government; Georgia). Attendees will have the pleasure of learning valuable keys to success first-hand during exclusive and intimate engagements during scheduled Master Classes with Hall of Fame inductees. There will also be various workshops, a poolside reception, luncheons, lectures, networking, leisure activities and nightlife.
The ICABA Diversity & Inclusion Conference and Awards will present two of the world’s most respected leaders of color, Johnny C. Taylor, Jr., President and CEO, SHRM, and Arnold Donald, CEO, Carnival Corporation, as keynote speakers. During the ICABA Salutes Global Influencers event, six leading global influencers will be feted during a lavish red-carpet party hosted by rapper, songwriter and Grammy Awards Trustee, Rico Love. Over 300 attendees featuring celebrities and influencers from various sectors are expected to be in attendance.
