BOYNTON BEACH,Fla.— As students in South Florida get ready to return to school, Genesis Community Health is hosting a collaborative Back to School Community Health and Resource Fair.Located in Boynton Beach within Bethesda Hospital East, Genesis has become the medical home for more than 3,000 patients from Boynton Beach and the surrounding area.

Genesis provides general pediatric care, family care, women’s wellness, routine check-ups, testing/screenings, urgent care, OB-GYN services, HIV/AIDS testing, chronic condition diagnosis and management, school- and sports-required exams, and dental care.

The Back to School Fair is open to residents countywide and will offer free food, entertainment, games, prizes and backpacks with school supplies. There will also be free health care services,STD and pregnancy testing, healthcare information, nutritional information, physicals and haircuts.

Genesis is partnering with Bridges at Boynton Beach,St.John Missionary Baptist Church, Pathways to Prosperity and Children’s Services Council to host the fair on Saturday,Aug. 13 from 10 a.m.to 2 p.m. at the St. John Missionary Baptist Church, 900 N.
