Over the years, organizations like Brazilian Voices, Inc., Sistrunk Historical Festival, Inc., The Girl Choir of South Florida, Inc., Island City Stage, Inc., and Broward Stage Door Theatre, Inc. have benefitted from funding to help each group fulfill its mission. The nonprofit organizations have received funding through the Broward Cultural Division, which recently announced the application workshop for fiscal year 2020 funding cycle of the Cultural Investment Program (CINV)

grant.

Interested applicants should attend this free workshop, which will cover grant details, eligibility requirements and the online submission on Friday, Oct. 26 at 2 p.m. The informational session will be held at the Broward County Main Library in the Bienes Center Conference Room on the 6th floor. The library is located at 100 S. Andrews Ave.

in Fort Lauderdale. The application deadline is Feb. 1, 2019.

The Broward Cultural Division assists eligibleBroward-based, not-for-profit cultural organizations, that have been operational in their cultural disciplines for a minimum of two years immediately preceding the date of application. Funding may be used for reimbursable program expenses associated with the presentation and/or production of a regular season of exhibitions, programs, events or performances open to the public in Broward County.
