PORTLAND, Ore. (AP) _ A woman who says she had to be taken to the emergency room after a Fred Meyer pharmacy employee gave her the wrong prescription has filed a lawsuit.

The Oregonian reports (http://is.gd/wfE98F) that Anna Bell filed a lawsuit last week seeking $680,000 from the chain. She says she went to a Portland branch of the store for the fertility drug clomiphene but instead was given a different medication with a similarly spelled name.

According to the suit, she became ill when she took a dose of the other medication and had to be taken to the hospital. She say the mix-up has impacted her ability to conceive a child.

Fred Meyer spokeswoman Melinda Merrill declined to comment on the pending litigation.
