FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. – The African American Research Library and Cultural Center is transforming itself into a fraternity and sorority house – well, sort of. The center is inviting the public to party like a collegiate Greek and celebrate the National PanHellenic Council (NPHC) at Destination Fridays with members from the Divine 9 – the historically Black Greek letter organizations (BGLOs) that make up the NPHC on Friday, Sept. 7 from 6:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m.

Members of Kappa Alpha Psi, Alpha Phi Alpha, Omega Psi Phi, Alpha Kappa Alpha, Delta Sigma Theta, Zeta Phi Beta, Phi Beta Sigma, Sigma Gamma Rho, Iota Phi Theta will converge on the center for a night of fun, including soul food, a step-and-stroll showcase, door prizes, gifts and giveaways.

The night will include R&B, soul and funk music and the evening’s signature drink, “The Divine 9 Experience.” Attendees must 21 and over.

Tickets are $10, which includes food, drinks, gated parking and raffle tickets. Tickets can be purchased at the door or online at http://www.broward.org/Library/Events/Fridays/Pages /default.asp.
