Miami Beach, FL – On Thursday, July 9, 2015, The Miami Beach Fire Department promoted Darryl Bell to the command staff position of Division Chief of Support Services. Bell becomes the first African American to rise within the ranks of the department to assume this leadership and management role. Chief Bell is a 16-year veteran with the Miami Beach Fire Department.
