ATLANTA – The U.S. Small Business Administration has approved almost 30,000 disaster loans totaling over $1 billion for disaster survivors of Hurricane Irma in Florida, and SBA’s assistance is still available. Customer Service Representatives are stationed at 12 locations throughout Florida to answer program questions, assist in applying for an SBA disaster loan and help with the reconsideration process.

The centers’ South Florida’s locations and hours of operation are indicated below.

Broward County Tamarac Branch Library 8701 W. Commercial Blvd.

Tamarac, FL 33351 Hours: Monday –Wednesday, 10 a.m. – 8 p.m.; Thursday – Saturday, 10 a.m. – 6 p.m.

Miami-Dade County U.S. Small Business Administration – District Office 100 S. Biscayne Blvd. 7th floor Miami, FL 33131 Hours: Monday-Saturday, 9 a.m. – 6 p.m.

Frankie Shannon Rolle Building 3750 South Dixie Highway Miami, FL 33133 Hours: Monday-Friday, 9 a.m. – 6 p.m. Monroe County Doubletree Hotel 3990 S. Roosevelt Blvd. Key West, FL 33040 Hours: Monday-Saturday, 9 a.m. – 6 p.m.

Additional information on other recovery centers and the disaster loan program may be obtained by calling SBA’s Customer Service Center at 800-659-2955 (800-877-8339 for the deaf and hard-of-hearing) or by sending an email to disastercustomerservice@sba.gov. Applicants may apply online using the Electronic Loan Application (ELA) via SBA’s secure website at https://disasterloan.sba.gov/ela. Loan applications can be downloaded from www.sba.gov.
