Samuel “Sammy” Collie, an 11th-grader from Miami Northwestern High won the grand prize in the Miami-Dade County Public Schools first “Best Voice? Your Choice!” contest last October.
Now he has had a recording session at the Hit Factory studios, which was part of his prize package.
Sammy has been working with Grammy-winning producer Rudy Perez and he recorded the song Make Like A Plane…FLY, written by Mykul Watson, arranged and programmed by Captain Marvelous and produced by Perez.
