FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. – If talent alone could guarantee success, many artists would thrive. Because it doesn’t, other professional skills are necessary to help artists establish and maintain their brand identity while monetizing their product and/or service.

In the latest of its monthly workshops dedicated to helping artists build the professional skills they need to be successful working artists, ArtServe presents ‘Re-Invigorating Your Brand’ on Thursday, March 10, from 6 – 8 p.m. at ArtServe.

Award-winning, neo-pop artist Ed King shares the best practices and knowledge he acquired during his years in the advertising and marketing arena to show artists of all genres how to create and enhance a brand identity, generate media interest and         regularly engage consumers.

A visual artist and musician, King has promoted his art at EdKingPopArt.com. He also serves as ArtServe marketing and advertising coordinator and manages the cooperative marketing program offered by ArtServe and the Broward County Cultural Division, which educates not-for-profit cultural organizations and artists about advertising and provides matching funds for advertising expenditures, graphic design support and marketing guidance.

Open to Artserve members and the public, ArtServe will present monthly workshops through July. The workshops are free to ArtServe members and $10 for non-members. Reservations may be made at ArtServe.org.

ArtServe is located at 1350 E. Sunrise Boulevard in Fort Lauderdale. For more information, visit ArtServe.org or call 954-462-8190.
