NAPLES, Fla. (AP) _ A southwest Florida woman has been charged with fatally shooting her boyfriend's dog following an argument.
The Collier County Sheriff's Office reports that 43-year-old Kelly Gresham was out with friends Sunday when she began fighting with her boyfriend. Authorities say she punched him in the face during the drive home.
Once at their Naples home, authorities say Gresham asked her friends if they wanted to hear something funny. She then went to the bedroom, where deputies say she shot and killed the pregnant pit bull.
Gresham faces multiple counts, including felony cruelty to animals, possession of a firearm and misdemeanor domestic violence.
