WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. (AP) _ West Palm Beach has recorded its wettest summer on record.

The National Weather Service says the city saw just over 40 inches of rain between June and August, easily beating the record of about 36 inches from 1901.

Elsewhere in South Florida, Miami's more than 37 inches of June to August rain make it the fourth-wettest summer on record.
