Effective Monday, Feb. 28, the Broward County Health Department is discontinuing HIV/AIDS primary care, mental health, case management and nutrition services provided by the Ryan White Part A program at the Northwest-Hughes Health Center, 2005 NW Sixth Ave., Pompano Beach.
Other providers in the county will continue to provide these services.

The county health department will offer dental and pharmacy services through the program, as usual.

The health department said it is working with the county and partners to coordinate a smooth transition for clients.  In order to ensure continuity of care, the department said, it is important that current clients choose new providers for primary care, mental health, case management and nutrition services.

If assistance is needed in choosing new providers, call the department at 954-788-6113. For a list of providers of Ryan White Part A services, visit www.browardchd.org.
