Patients at Holtz Children’s Hospital at the University of Miami/Jackson Memorial Medical Center received a surprise visit from WWE Superstars and Divas who were in town for WrestleMania Week in Miami.
WWE superstars R-Truth, Christian, Edge, Rey Mysterio and The Great Khali, along with divas AJ, The Bella Twins (Brie and Nikki) and Maxine dropped in March 28 to bring some cheer to the children. They spent two hours with the kids and their families signing autographs, posing for photos, giving them WWE gifts, talking with them and making them smile.
Cedric Cash, a Holtz patient and avid WWE fan, interviewed the wrestlers in the Holtz playroom and had them sign a paper wrestling belt he designed. Other patients marveled at the size of some of the WWE superstars, especially The Great Khali, who is 7’1” tall and weighs 347 pounds.
