Dent, 23, was arraigned Monday and released on $15,000 bond. His attorney, Tim Jansen, did not return a phone call to his office Monday afternoon.

According to a Tallahassee Police Department report, Dent and the friend had dinner together at her apartment Saturday night. They then went out to a club and ate at McDonald's before returning to Dent's apartment early Sunday.

The woman told police she decided to sleep at his apartment, something she had done often in the past without problems. After falling asleep, she said Dent began to kiss her and she told him to stop. Dent tried again, and she bit him on the lip.

She told police that a few minutes later, Dent returned to bed and tried again to engage her. She told him no, but Dent allegedly tried to forcefully have sex with her.

She told investigators she then grabbed Dent's dreadlocks with one hand and punched him. She says they fought and, after a struggle, she was able to grab her clothes and purse and leave his apartment.

She later called police.

His attorney, Tim Jansen, did not return a phone call to his office Monday afternoon.

A rising senior from Belle Glade, Fla., Dent caught 27 passes for 355 yards and two touchdowns in 2012.

Florida State said Dent will not be allowed to play while a felony charge is pending.
