MANATEE COUNTY, Fla. (AP) _ A 27-year-old man is behind bars after authorities say he tried to bite a deputy after he was bit by a K-9 dog.
Christopher Wilson was arrested on multiple charges after authorities say he tried to break into the home of a person he was banned from seeing on Thursday.
Manatee County Sheriff's deputies arrived at the home and set their dog loose to catch Wilson after he refused to cooperate. The Sarasota Herald-Tribune reports the dog bit Wilson. Authorities say he tried to bite one deputy and kicked another.
Wilson was treated at a hospital for the bite. Wilson was also charged with violating a domestic violence injunction.
