police_chalk_line.jpegCALLAWAY, Fla. (AP) _ Authorities say an Alabama man and his girlfriend were shot while they struggled over a gun.

Bay County Sheriff's Office went to the couple's apartment in the Florida Panhandle Friday night and found a woman with a gunshot wound to her shoulder.

K-9 officers tracked 26-year-old Paul Lambert a few blocks away. He suffered a gunshot wound to his arm.

The Panama City News Herald (http://www.ittybittyurl.com/gzn) reports Lambert and his girlfriend were fighting over the gun after she refused to give it to him. They wrestled over the gun and it went off, striking both of them.

Lambert was charged with felon in possession of a firearm, tampering with evidence and aggravated battery.

A 24-year-old woman also staying at the apartment was charged with tampering with evidence.
