paul-levelt-andre.jpgMIAMI —  On April 3, 2013, Ann-Karen Weller and Paul Levelt André received the 2013 Florida International University’s Robert Stempel College of Public Health and Social Work Path Awards.

Weller, RN, BSN, MBA-HSM, and director of the Office of Community Health and Planning, received the Disease Prevention award.

André, P.E., CEHP, M.ASCE, and Drinking Water Program manager with the Florida Department of Health in Miami-Dade County, received the Environmental Health award.

Florida International University’s Robert Stempel College of Public Health and Social Work bestows the awards to recognize individuals in public health, social work and dietetics for their

contributions and commitment to promoting and protecting the health of the South Florida community.

The awards also serve to raise community awareness and understanding of the contributions made by public health, social work and dietetics professionals.
