Celebrating National Dance Week and the abundance of high-quality dance in South Florida, and renamed for its founder, South Florida Dance pioneer Daniel Lewis, this performance series features top local companies in a group performance.

“I am so pleased to know that the Miami Dance Sampler will begin again,” said Mr. Lewis when asked his thoughts about the return of his brainchild. “It is a great tool for developing audiences and to stimulate the growth of dance in South Florida.”

Participating companies and choreographers include Karen Peterson and Dancers, Arts Ballet Theatre, Dance NOW! Miami, Brigid Baker WholeProject, Afua Hall, Luis Alberto Cuevas,

Pioneer Winter, Lara Murphy and special guest Carolyn Dorfman Dance Company from New York City.
