Polk County Sheriff's officials say the latest attack happened early Sunday, when he robbed and beat a woman. They are offering a $5,000 reward for tips leading to the suspect's arrest.

In almost every incident since April 14, victims are confronted in their homes during the early morning hours. The suspect wears dark clothing and uses a mask to partially obscure his face.

Sheriff Grady Judd calls the suspect “dangerous,'' adding that he believes the suspect is casing homes.

Sheriff's officials have made recorded calls to homes in areas where the robberies have occurred. They are warning residents to keep all windows and doors locked and to keep exterior lights on at night.
