“A Boy, A Girl, A Dream,” currently in theaters, features Cass (Omari Hardwick), a Los Angeles club promoter who meets a Midwestern woman named frida (Meagan Good) on the night of the 2016 presidential election. She challenges Cass to revisit his broken dreams, while he pushes frida to discover hers.

Samantha Tanner and Qasim Basir wrote the script and Basir directed the movie, which also stars Jay ellis and Dijon Talton.
