MIAMI GARDENS – For South Florida’s jazz lovers, Miami-Dade Commissioner Barbara J. Jordan, Miami Gardens Mayor Oliver G. Gilbert and the Sunshine Jazz Organization have a treat for you. Join them for a free concert featuring South Florida’s first lady of jazz Alice Day and the legendary Mustafa family – including Melton Mustafa Sr., Melton Mustafa Jr., Jesse Jones Jr., and Yamin Mustafa.
The event is Jordan’s free Music in the Park Jazz and Blues concert on Friday, May 6 from 6:30 to 9 p.m. at the Betty T. Ferguson Recreational Complex amphitheater, 3000 NW 199th St., Miami Gardens.
