PENSACOLA, Fla. – Written to be an aid for reading the Bible, “Snapshots of the New Testament” by Tommy G. Smith is a biblical resource that offers a chapter-by-chapter outline of the New Testament.

“I did not intend to write a book. I simply wanted to give the same degree of attention to my Bible study as I had given to my studies in law school,” said Smith, who is a partner at Shell, Fleming, Davis and Menge, P.A. “As I neared the final books of the New Testament, it occurred to me that these outlines might possibly be useful to other people.”

Smith’s outlines are concise to encourage reflection and make it easy for readers to incorporate reviews into daily life “until the lessons learned become a part of who you are,” he said.

Smith added, “I want readers to use this book as if they were a student preparing for an exam. Success at the end of this life depends on one crucial test, and it will pose a single question: ‘What did you do with Jesus?’”
