The Universal Truth Center for Better Living, a metaphysical New Thought church for thinkers, is screening the movie “The Shadow Effect: Illuminating the Hidden Power of Your True Self,” on Friday, Sept.

17. The film is based on the bestselling book by Deepak Chopra, Debbie Ford, and Marianne Williamson; and brings to light the parts of a person that they deny but still directs their life.

Once the shadow is embraced, a person can then discover the gifts of their authentic nature. Also, the movie implies that even though the shadow is a natural part of people, they spend most of their life running from it. “The Shadow Effect” serves a guide to discovering the gifts of the shadow. No longer living a half-life, people can achieve their dreams and reclaiming the happiness that is their birthright.
