Many people asked why I stopped writing political opinion columns. My answer was: because I got tired of trying to bring truth and another perspective to those who turned a blind eye to anything not liberal, regardless of how many bodies lay in the wake.
Someone must answer the cries of those who also can no longer stand the regurgitation of national liberal party politics which have left the black communities across the country destitute, denigrated and bankrupt.
Sometimes you can’t help but stare incredulously at television news channels as they “report” all the liberal shenanigans: the IRS selecting groups for auditing (“computers crashed and emails disappeared”); the killing of our ambassador in Benghazi, Libya (“it was an anti-Islam video that got four Americans killed”); Obamacare (“you can keep your doctor, period”); etc.
Every week, there seems to be another lie. For example, Hilary Clinton pushes her politico-bio declaring that she and Bill Clinton (President # 42) were “dead broke and in debt” when they left the White House in January 2001. Seriously?
Maybe she’s jealous and resentful of those she considers “truly well off” (the one percent). Obviously she doesn’t consider making $200,000 per speech, getting a $7 million advance for her book and having large
institutions pay her and her family “huge amounts of money” makes her as rich as someone like a Mitt Romney who owns his private airplane while she rides in someone else’s.
And maybe that’s why she stole the china, linen and silverware from the White House when they left after Bill’s term was over. She was broke and a thief, huh?
This is the woman who wants to be king, hoping the liberal voters won’t mind that she lied so she could be thought of as just another poor liberal feminist standing up for the little guy.
Remember, she has a net worth of $21.5 million and her husband has a net worth of $80 million, according to Celebrity Net Worth.
How’s that for an ordinary middle class family!
This is just another example of how the liberal/Democratic machinery know they can lie to their constituents and keep them voting their way.
I remember when Jeb Bush was governor of Florida and replaced affirmative action laws with his “One Florida” initiative.
The Florida Democratic Party, including the black elected officials, never told their communities that Democrats gave lip service only to affirmative action and the “One Florida” legislation was, ironically, written by a black Democrat. Instead they called Jeb a racist and said he was going to take away our civil rights.
Well, Jeb served 8 years and black folk still have all their civil rights. In fact, under Jeb, the state tripled the amount of money it spent with black folk, especially black businesses – more than Democratic governors had spent for the entire 25 years under affirmative action.
Black folk in Florida continue to show as much as progress as or more progress than blacks do in states with affirmative action. But, to hear the liberals tell it, Florida is one of the most racist states because Republican governors and legislatures have controlled it for the last 14-plus years.
It’s so insane that, during the 2012 election, black folk were told to vote “No” for all the state constitutional amendments. So the black politicians had black Christians voting to have their tax dollars pay for abortions for people they didn’t even know and their “No” vote stopped their tax dollars from going to their own churches.
I analyzed all the constitutional ballot questions and had the results distributed to members of our church, who were shocked they were told to vote “No”.
That’s what happens when our people are controlled by one political party and vote blindly as they are told.
But there are a few black politicians whom I support even though they are Democrats. One of them is state Sen. Oscar Braynon. Not only is he a good person who comes from a good family but also he knows how to make relationships across the aisle and do what’s best for his community, instead of blindly following the Party Line.
We need a few more good men (and women) like him. Then maybe most of the inner-city communities won’t look like disaster zones breeding high school dropouts in the school-to-prison pipeline, teenage unwed mothers, drug dealers and criminals.
