13TH ANNUAL VETERANS DAY CELEBRATION: The largest parade of the day in South Florida takes route on Ocean Drive in the City of Miami Beach at 11:11 a.m. on Thursday, Nov. 11. The event features veteran and military groups, marching bands and community organizations beginning at Fifth Street. The start time of the event coincides with the 11th hour of the 11th day of the 11th month originally intended to commemorate the armistice ending World War I. ANNUAL FEAST WITH GRATITUDE IN DORAL: To celebrate the season of giving, MONAT Gratitude will host its annual Feast with Gratitude on Nov. 13, in partnership with Neighbors 4 Neighbors and Farm Share. The organizations will distribute fresh, healthy food and essential items to families in need, designed to keep the community safe as a drive-thru food distribution event 11 a.m. – 3 p.m. at the MONAT headquarters, 10000 NW 15th Ter., Doral. The family-oriented event will feature a live DJ, stilt walkers, unicorn cyclists, walking trees, and bubble-blowing fairies as entertainment as guests celebrate the spirit of gratitude from the comfort of their cars.
