LAS VEGAS (AP) _ O.J. Simpson is asking the full Nevada Supreme Court to consider his appeal of his conviction in a Las Vegas hotel room heist.

The request for oral arguments was filed Thursday with the seven-member court.

Simpson attorney Malcolm LaVergne tells The Associated Press he hopes the seven-member court reaches a different finding than a three-justice panel that rejected Simpson’s appeal in October. The panel also denied Simpson a rehearing in February.

LaVergne argues the jury in Simpson’s 2008 Las Vegas trial wasn’t fully screened for bias, that blacks were improperly dismissed from the jury and that kidnapping charges weren’t proved.

The 63-year-old Simpson is serving nine to 33 years in prison on kidnapping, armed robbery and other charges in the confrontation with two sports memorabilia dealers in September 2007.
