Fort Lauderdale, Fla. – Broward Health celebrated the arrival of two bundles of joy on Leap Year Day last Thursday, Feb. 29. Very early in the morning, at 2:52 a.m., baby boy Amari Garcia, right, was born at Broward Health Coral Springs, weighing 6 pounds 12 ounces. Meanwhile, at Broward Health Medical Center, a beautiful baby girl, left, was born around 8 a.m., weighing 6 pounds 11 ounces. While she awaits her permanent name, Baby J will continue a family tradition where names begin with the letter “J” for three generations.
