In addition to sharing the same initials, K.J., two leaders from the City of West Palm Beach will now serve on the Palm Beach County Criminal Justice Commission.

City Commissioner Keith James and Reverend Kevin Jones, who heads Mayor Jeri Muoio’s Village Initiative, are the CJC’s newest members. Commissioner James will serve as the League of Cities representative, and Reverend Jones will serve as the new clergy representative.

“I’m looking forward to working with the Commission on ensuring all policies and procedures lead to the fair application of justice,” said Commissioner James. “It’s an honor to be the Commission’s first clergy member,” said Rev. Jones.

The Palm Beach County Criminal Justice Commission has been operating for almost 30 years, and provides recommendations on how to improve the overall justice system throughout the county.
