FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. – ArtServe recently held its annual volunteer appreciation reception to thank nearly 90 volunteers who donated their time last season to the Broward County arts service organization.

Volunteers enjoyed an elegant cocktail reception presented by The Atlantic Hotel & Spa and vied for door prizes provided by reception sponsors that included Elements Massage, Cinema Paradiso, ArtBlend Magazine, Slow Burn Theatre Company and Winterfest Boat Parade.

ArtServe volunteers perform a variety of tasks including: greeting gallery and exhibition visitors, assisting at receptions and with gift shop sales, helping administrative staff answer phones, doing mailings and minor clerical work and coordinating service hours for volunteer students who are eligible to earn community service hours toward their graduation requirement.
