Miami, Fla — Congresswoman Frederica Wilson (FL-24) will present a $3 million check to the Museum of Contemporary Art North Miami (MOCA). This funding will enhance the museum’s 28-year-old facility, allowing it to better serve the residents of North Miami and beyond. The improvements will support MOCA’s endeavors to present internationally renowned exhibitions and offer robust education and public programs. The museum will also strengthen its impact on the region’s identity, education, and economy while continuing to be the arts and cultural anchor in North Miami-Dade. This $3 million is part of Congressional appropriations for fiscal year 2023.
