On Nov. 17, the School Board of Broward County, Florida, elected Rosalind Osgood, Ph.D. as Chair and Abby M. Freedman as Vice Chair for the 2015/16 school year.
The election took place during the School Board’s Annual Organization Meeting. Osgood, a Broward County native, was elected in 2012 to represent District 5. She is a Broward County Public Schools graduate of Fort Lauderdale High School.
Osgood earned Master’s and Doctoral degrees in Public Administration from Nova Southeastern University. She also earned a Master’s of Divinity degree from New Orleans Southern Baptist Theological Seminary.
