Youth and families are encouraged to take advantage of a unique and fun learning experience when the Museum of Discovery and Science’s portable planetarium, the Star Lab, will offer celestial viewings on Saturday, Oct. 1, at 1:30 p.m., 2:15 p.m. and 3 p.m. inside the exhibit hall along with the Discover Space Exhibit at the African-American Research Library & Cultural Center (AARLCC), 2650 Sistrunk Blvd., Fort Lauderdale.
The exhibit features interactive kiosks where families can learn about the formation of new planets and systems, Mars exploration, solar storms, asteroids and comets.
The AARLCC is one of only eight sites nationwide to host the exhibit on display until Oct. 14.
