Leila Lopes, 25, a native of the south central African nation of Angola, won the Miss Universe crown in the annual pageant held Tuesday in Brazil, beating out 88 other contestants.

According to The Associated Press, she said she has never had cosmetic surgery and her three tips for beauty are to get a lot of sleep, use sun block even when it’s not sunny and drink lots of water. Her smile was her best attribute in the competition. She plans to focus on combating HIV around the globe during her reign.
