Do you have a problem with your mother and daughter’s relationship? If you answered yes, who created the problem?

When you ask the mother she says, my daughter! Her daughters say my mother!

The problem created is both the mother and daughter. One created an action, the other a reaction. From their actions and reactions, they may battle over conflicts for months or even years, not knowing how to resolve them.

The reason mothers and daughters cannot find the solution to their conflicts they are looking at their actions and reactions. It’s not about that at all. It’s about the relationship being out of order with God’s Word.

God gave direct instructions, children honor your father and mother and He said to the fathers, do not provoke your children, and I believe this also applies to mothers. (Ephesians 6:14)

Mothers when you argue with your daughters, you provoke them to dishonor you. I don’t believe that a mother should argue with her daughter. You are the mother, say what you mean and mean what you say, and do it with love! When you operate out of love, your daughter will operate out of honor.

Now, how can you both get a solution to your problems? Mothers, you have a responsibility to seek the Word of God, for your answers. His Word is the solutions to all your problems! For example; if you bought a car and the manufacturer said to use “ONLY” unleaded gas. You decided that you want to try alcohol instead. The car malfunctioned. Who caused the problem? You did by being disobedient and not following instructions. God created a product called human and with each human came instructions. So, when you make a mistake, repent and go to the manual/Bible for His instructions and follow them.

The results of His promises will amaze you! If you believe what He says!

The solution: Start with John 13:34-35, “A new command I give to you: Love one another.

As I have loved you, so you must love one another. By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another.”

For best results, mothers sit down with your daughters and read God’s instructions together. This will help both of you to understand that our Heavenly Father has expectations for our lives.

This is how you recapture your love and with your love comes forgiveness, problem solved!
