dennis-gallon-1.jpgLAKE WORTH — Know someone who is making a difference in the community? Palm Beach State College is seeking nominations for its 2013 Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Leadership Awards.

The awards recognize individuals and organizations that have made significant contributions in the lives of others, particularly the underserved in Palm Beach County, through leadership, service and/or programs.

These contributions can include the areas of education, diversity, race relations, social justice and economic empowerment. There are four award categories: Palm Beach State student, Palm Beach State alumni, individual and organization.

Nominations must be delivered by Oct. 26. Details about the awards, submission guidelines and nomination forms are available at palmbeachstate.edu/mlk

The awards will be presented by PBSC President Dennis Gallon during the 14th annual celebration breakfast on Jan. 17, 2013, at the Lake Worth campus.
