DELRAY BEACH — Originally created in 2007 in Fort Lauderdale, the Bus Loop, a fundraiser for local charities, will come to Delray Beach for the fifth time on Friday, Oct. 5, from 6:00 p.m. – 11:00 p.m.

Admission is a $25 donation at the door or $20 if prepaid online at busloop.org. For further information call 954-574-6000.

Participants can register and begin the Bus Loop at the tent at Old School Square on the corner of N.E. First Avenue and Atlantic Avenue beginning at 6:00 p.m.

The loop again will involve some of Delray Beach’s top venues, including Boheme Bistro, Olio’s, Paddy McGee’s, Boston’s, Sundy House, Bull Bar, Kevro’s Art Bar (Live Music), Pepe’s Hideaway, Hurricane Lounge, and DaDa’s.

The evening will end with a Pizza Post-Event Party beginning at 10:30 p.m. at Hurricane Lounge.

Upon check-in, participants will receive their Bus Loop cards and wristbands allowing them to ride on the trolleys all evening at no charge, and to receive complimentary cocktails, appetizers and special featured items at participating locations along the route.

The trolleys travel continuously so attendees can move at their own pace until 11:00 p.m., staying at each spot as long as they wish with no need to hurry.

All proceeds will benefit the Delray Beach Public Library, The Spirit of Giving and Old School Square. The last Bus Loop in July netted $2,500 for each organization, which expressed gratitude for the opportunity.
