MIAMI — Regina M. Grace, acting assistant director of Miami-Dade County’s Community Action and Human Services Department has been elected the chair of the Board of Directors for the Florida Association for Community Action (FACA).
The Miami-Dade Community Action and Human Services Department coordinates the county’s human and social services programs, and includes programs aimed at eliminating poverty locally.
Since 1976, Grace has been involved with the development and implementation of programs that have helped to move individuals from poverty to self-sufficiency. She has held progressively responsible leadership roles within the department.
Grace holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Sociology and a Master’s Degree in Human Resource Management.
The Florida Association for Community Action represents more than 20 organizations throughout Florida that share a common mission and vision to end poverty in their respective communities.
