Circuit Judge Kenneth Lester set several conditions Friday for Zimmerman's release.

He cannot have any firearms, drink alcohol, or use drugs and must observe a nightly curfew set at p.m. The judge says details need to be worked out between Zimmerman's attorney and law enforcement, and that Zimmerman will not be released Friday.

Zimmerman is charged with second-degree murder in the Feb. 26 shooting of Martin in central Florida. His claim of self-defense and police not initially charging him, has sparked national outrage.

At the bond hearing Zimmerman apologized to Martin family, saying he was "sorry."

Zimmerman's family told the judge that he is not violent and was not a threat to anyone.
