FORT LAUDERDALE — Community members are invited to join school board members, the superintendent and area superintendents, school boundaries staff and other Broward County Public School District staff for two public hearings regarding proposed elementary, middle and high school boundaries for the 2012/13 school year. 

Public Hearing I is set for Wednesday, Feb. 29 at 5:30 p.m. Public Hearing II will be on Wednesday, March 28 at 5:30 p.m.

Both will take place at Plantation High School, 6901 N.W. 16th St. in Plantation.           

School board members are required to vote to establish next year’s 2012/13 school attendance areas and school usage. This is the final opportunity for public input on the superintendent’s 2012/13 school boundary recommendations.
