christmas-flower_web.jpgMIAMI — The Sixth Annual Overtown Holiday Spectacular, at 4 p.m. on Sunday, Dec. 18, promises to be a spirit-filled  program that will have toes tapping, spirits soaring, and the pipe organ (and audience) singing at the Historic St. Agnes' Episcopal Church.

What will patrons hear this year at the event — which is free open to the public, will feature gated, worry free parking and will be followed by a reception catered by Global Excellence?

The program will include new arrangements of holiday classics for jazz ensemble and string orchestra, and will culminate in a grand sing-along of holiday favorites

Performing are organist Dr. Ronald Morgan, the Coral Gables Congregational United Church of Christ (CGCC) Community Arts Program (CAP) Conservatory for the Arts Young Musicians' Junior & Intermediate Orchestras led by April Liberty, Advanced Orchestra conducted by Ashley Liberty and the ALL-STAR Jazz Ensemble led by Daniel Strange.

The Overtown Holiday Spectacular reflects the mission of the Coral Gables Congregational United Church of Christ (CGCC) Community Arts Program (CAP) to serve a diverse community with the transforming power of the arts through educational and culturally enriching experiences.
