MIRAMAR — Journey to Africa in the modern-day Cinderella story Mufaro’s Beautiful Daughters — An African Tale, based on the Caldecott Award-winning children’s illustrated book. The tale follows two sisters on a journey to be queen as they encounter mysterious situations that test their courage, kindness and strength of spirit. The musical features African drumming, powerful choreography and the energy of the African land.
The Family Fun Series offers the ultimate theater going experience including pre- and post-show activities paired with performances based on classic children’s literature which introduces young audiences to the arts while strengthening reading skills. The weekend performances feature pre-show arts and crafts presented by Young At Art Museum, complimentary face painting and a post-show snack provided by Whole Foods Market.
Individual tickets are $15 in advance and $16 when bought the day of the performance with $3 lap tickets available for infants 12 months and under.
